I am building my own computer and i was wondering if BIOS comes with certain pc parts, like the motherboard or the processor; or do i have to install it myself?

Only if you don't plan on installing SATA drives, or updating said BIOS.

I would always have a floppy handy, just in case you need it. They are mad cheap these days.

these can be both done via cd/dvd, although installing os to sata drive (without any pata ones) can be quite a hassle. for bios updating one can make dos-bootable cd easily with some burning program, like nero.
