Default Need help upgrading from IDE to Sata drive

System
Athlon 64 2800+
MSI K8N Neo Platinum nforce 3
Pheonix Award Bios

I been trying to upgrade to have my raptor as my boot drive with no success. I used norton Ghost to clone the drive, removed the old drive and of course got the no operating system error.

If there is anyone out there that can take me through this step by step and familiar with the Pheonix bios settings it would be appreciated.

What operating system are you trying to run. Once I know I can solve the problem.

Shouldn't it be exactly like a normal drive?

Is the raptor drive recognized in bios?
Make sure all cables are plugged in tight. (dont forget power)
Make sure you select it as boot drive.
