Need Help Fast

ok i just managed to trip over my dads $70 5.1 surround sound headphones when walking away from computer. I basically broke the joint where the one headphone meets head band. Its plastic and no glue I have used has glued it together but have cleared the surface everytime a glue didnt work. Really fast can anyone tell me how to glue the two plastic pieces back together?

epoxy contact bond. apply it to both surfaces and let it dry until its touch dry and then brace the two halves together. i'm not sure but i think its should bond plastics

my dad would be pretty mad if i did that as well. Luckily my dad dislikes headphones.
