I have a 6600 Gt and a sempron 2200. If I buy a Athlon xp 3000 will i be able to play Battlefield 2 ok?

I would instead get a sempron 3100. But, i guess it'll be alright. Most modern games have mroe of a demand on gfx card than processor. A 1.8Ghz P4 equivalent is all that's required for most games. Now is an AThlon XP equal if not better than an 1.8Ghz P4?

BF2 min requirements: cpu 1.5 Ghz (or prolly equivalent amd), ram: 512 Mb, Vid card: 64 Mb.

Hey buddy. I have a 6600GT also and an AMD A64 2800+.

It runs pretty good! I have everything turned up almost all the way.

I suggest an Athlon 64 Processor (Socket 939).

well i think im going with a sempron 3000 or 3100 and a evga 6600gt im on budget
