I need a CPU and want to build it myself. I have read on the boards that if you use and IDE HD and a fast processor that may cause a bottle neck, is this true?. I already purchased the HD and it has a 8mb buffer. Thanks for the help.

Only on applications that access the HDD. The processor can process info faster than the HDD can access it, but its no biggie.
