need help

i have a compal laptop screen and a toshiba laptop cpu. i'm trying to put them together and install them in my car. the problem is that the toshiba's screen plug is different than the compal's screen cable. how do i hook them up. please help i'm so close to getting this done but now i need help.'

If you can find the specs of the hardware, you can use that info to find the pin configuration. You might have to do some surgery, or replace the both the connectors to a matching set.
