uhhh, u mean the din connector like an old keyboard from the win95 era? and what type of scanner? like the barcode scanners from stores? if it is, there is a box that converts it from that to the big printer cable connector, but i dont know where to get them

what you do is get a DINN - to - PS/2 converter, then a PS/2 - to - USB converter!

nerdalot, u should be gutted, and slung over a wooden fence. J/K ^_^ lol

but neways, it wouldnt work, unless somehow the scanner had some sort of USB circutry inside of it, which i highly doubt. and i would bet if you were to do that, it would most likely fry the usb port you are trying it on, or possibly fry the scanner.

and besides, heres a little info. a DINN to PS/2 converter is to be used for connecting old ibm style keyboards to the newer ps/2 style ports. and a ps/2 to usb converter is meant for mice that have usb circutry inside of them, eg: it has the circutry of a ps/2 mouse and the circutry of a usb mouse, and detects what method it is being connected by.
