but neways, it wouldnt work, unless somehow the scanner had some sort of USB circutry inside of it, which i highly doubt. and i would bet if you were to do that, it would most likely fry the usb port you are trying it on, or possibly fry the scanner.
and besides, heres a little info. a DINN to PS/2 converter is to be used for connecting old ibm style keyboards to the newer ps/2 style ports. and a ps/2 to usb converter is meant for mice that have usb circutry inside of them, eg: it has the circutry of a ps/2 mouse and the circutry of a usb mouse, and detects what method it is being connected by.
