Need a cheap laptop for word processing and internet surfing

I have been such a pain in the ass with this but I think you have me sold on this site. The Gateway Solo 450L looks like it is everything I want. What is your opinions? Do you think the wireless PC card is worth the extra $35 or just buy is seperately? I don't really need the card at the moment, but I am curious.

It's a good price, and a good system. The wireless would just be a nice perk. Besides, you could add a wireless router to your home setup and surf on the couch.

Naw, no pain. I enjoy helping people, and rounding up stuff like this is a challenge. Besides, I checked out that site myself. My daughter's starting to hint for a lappy. Now I know where to go.
