Need advice on a TV tuner set-up...

Did some research... new question...

Not sure where this goes but... I want to get a second 22" monitor as a present to myself for my b-day... I also have a really crappy 20" tv from the 90s and 5 game systems... I would like to hook up both monitors to my HD4870... and use a splitter or some sort of switching unit to plug my PS3 (HDMI to DVI cable) into one of the monitors... so that when the ps3 is on, only one shows computer stuff- the other shows the ps3... is this possible? what kind of hardware is needed?

You would need a KVM Switch.

If your new monitor has a hdmi input you could hook your computer up via dvi and hook the ps3 up via hdmi (sound may be another issue that I am not sure of. If you could send your sound out another way besides hdmi) Then you could switch the monitor between dvi and hdmi.
