Need advice for purchasing a new computer..

its an e-machine which is more upgradeable than hp or compaq or dell or gateway or any of that other junk it has an agp slot so you could get a card for it pretty easily just check for driverupdates also 2 pci slots pci-e i dont know but the x800 series of ati is available in that format so that plus 175 for 9800ati card or 200? for x-series-ati and your good to go

uhuh. she's trying to stay in a lower price range,so the x series is prolly out of her range, but yes that computer does look better, but it is also an e-machine, which i have heard things about, then again, i've also heard shocking stuff about dell and HP, so i'd go with it, if it has problems, return it for another of same model, or come to us, i'd still reccomend the above card i mentioned though, as a geforce mx 400 isnt alot better than integrated 64mb, and yes, that one listed is the crappy kind
