Can anyone identify this ram? All I know is that it is OLD. This came out of my Grandfather's computer, and I'm upgrading his computer for him, and I don't know what kind of ram to replace it with. All I know is that this is SDRAM (that's what it says on the case, the computer is an old ass HP). Thanks!

look the model number(of the ram or the HP, as long as it came with the computer) up on yahoo!, I think it's a PC133 tho

No Luck Googling for the original ram speed. I don't care about the brand, I just want to put in an adequate speed. But at the same time I don't want to pay for better ram than the thing needs. The computer is a HP Pavillion 6355. 333 MHz Celeron baby...

No. You can tell by the image that it is PC66, not sure where you pulled PC133...

Good luck, May just want to consider a new setup or at least a new motherboard.

EDIT:: Here is another link for you: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1481&item=3485441021&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V

Awesome thanks Alex. Do I have a 64 meg stick in there? I'd upgrade the mobo, but he just doesn't care. He uses it for e-mailing, and a limited amount of web browsing.

I cannot tell you for certain. The PDF tables I was able to pull up showed me that the serial PC66-222-920 4M had 64MB, but you have PC66-222-910...but still 4M.

So an educated guess would tell me that you have 64MB. But it is not something I am completely certain on.

Notice most of the ones you can buy are 64MB, so I think that it is safe to think it is actually 64MB.

Good Luck.
