Woohooo it's 2:00 in the morning and I finally finished the most recent edits. Here is what I got out of all of this so far. Please keep giving out ideas. By the way, does one cold cathode bar light up the whole computer or do I probably need two? The whole system is about 2.6g including shipping (I added about $200 for shipping for everything).

basically everything is from:

www.newegg.com and www.xoxide.com

So a main quesiton: If I ordered allllll of these parts, do I have exactly everything I need to have a working computer (besides the software) or do I need some other stuff like cords and wires?

p.s how are the fans now?

:p :D :)

two cold cathodes may be needed . . .

i really think you should get a bigger case . . . but its your choice . . .

get a thermaltake purepower 430 or 480w . . . they are active PFC and environmentally friendly

really think that you should get the 6800GT, but o well . . .

cant see the hard drives you posted

2-2-2-5 timings aren't greatly needed, 2-3-3-6 will be good too (only 1-2% boost, and thats not worth $60)

arent those fans for the cpu? they arent case fans... so oyu dont need three.. at least thats what i think they are. Also if you put all that stuff in the cart at newegg you can then choose a shipping option and it will tell you how much for shipping. I'm almost certain it isnt gonna cost 200 for shipping. Probably more around 50.

who knows bobo, theres so many things these days thats for 'improvements' I'm sure it takes like .0005 degrees off of your computer =P Mainly it looks like its just to help you from cracking the core, but still you'd think it'd add a little heat resistance

Yes that's it, a $2.99 scam.

As for hard drives, get two of the Raptors- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=22-144-160&depa=1

and configure them in a raid0 configuration. If you need help with that there is an article stickied to the top of the page.

For cooling your processor get this heatsink- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-108-021&depa=0

and this fan- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-999-612&depa=0

Now for case fans, if you don't particularly care about the noise level get 3 more of these- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-999-612&depa=0 .

That's all I can say for now...
