So I just purchased a new Cisco Valet Plus (M20). I have the Cisco Valet (M10) and I don't want to get rid of it. I am running a Desktop, two laptops, and an Ipad in my house. I was wondering if there was anything creative I could do with my old Cisco router because I don't want to sell it. Any suggestions would be GREAT!

The firmware? you could've done that with your old one. You could set that up as a free wifi for your neighborhood.

Or just keep it in your closet for safe keeping incase the new one breaks for some odd reason. Have an extra.

I assume what the OP means is s/he just wanted to upgrade the hardware.

You could take it apart, put a more powerful heatsink/fan combo on the main bits of it, paint the shell a cool color combo and have a real baller looking router. I'm not really sure what else you could do with it, but I'm sure there are some cool things you could do firmware wise with it.

I have two routers now. was just curious if I could do anything with the old one, not just the firmware, but the router itself?
