Default My new FX5700

Well, I got my new card back... cant think of a better way to say it than that.

Newegg said the 5700 that I had wasnt in stock, and wanted to know if they could send a different one. I said it was ok.

The card looks exactly the same, except I there was a power cord that came with it. Its just a regular power cord that looks like an extension, except it has a floppy end comming out of it.

The card I have is the FX5700 TD128. The only difference I can think of is the TD, I dont remember seeing that before.

I ran 3dMard01, and scored a lower score than when I had my old FX5700, but I think that might be because I had some ATI drivers on here. I used a driver cleaner, do you guys think I should still format?

3dMark score with old FX5700.... around 10,000
3dMark score with new FX5700........ around 7500

My PC Specs

Asus K8N
AMD64 2800+
1024 MB RAM PC-3200
GeForce FX 5700 128 MB
80 Gig 7200 RPM Hard Drive
DVD Burner
56k Modem (OH YEAH!!)
8 Channel Onboard Sound
5.1 Logitech Surround Sound
KDS Xtreme Flat Screen Monitor 17in.
Logitech Cordless Mouse
Running my long awated watercooling. Double radiator setup. 3 120mm fans right now. Finishing case.....

format could never hurt. I actually have to send my 5700 back too =/ and when I looked on the website they didn't have the exact version I had.... hope samething doesn't happen to me. Mine just stopped working, think it got overheated although I didn't overclock it or my computer. maybe the TD stands for 'Toned Down' =P
