I have this acer monitor for few years now.
I did not have any problem for first few years. Now initially I will not see any thing on screen but monitor LED light is on. So I know power is on.
In mac there is monitor/display configration, where it does show I have 2 monitors (one my laptop and other Acer) but external monitor is dead black. When I click detect display it show red boundary on the side which mean there is 2nd display.
Any way after many click of detect display, my external monitor was on for few minutes (not more than 5 minutes) after that it starts to show cracks (not sure how to describe it, you may have seen with old tvs with antenna when signal was out during wind or storms) and finally screen is dead black again.
What to do other than buying new monitor? Thanks in advance?
