uh, Enermax is just as good as Antec. Antec isn't the all mighty PSU that everyone thinks it is.

First of all, since you have an unlimited budget, that PSU will not do at all. You will need (want) this one instead:

Second, if this is a gaming PC, your retarded if you get intel.

May I suggest this optical drive.

It burns everything!!!! Any media that you can think of. Even DVD-RAM

Well at least I found someone who likes Intel. Your processor choice looks good.

What are you going to be using this computer for?!? If gaming, go with AMD. Even if you don't like them, it will be better.

With the 7800GTX, he will not see much of a difference when it comes to which CPU he has. Only like 5-10 frames a second.

Exactly uzi9mm.

003...I do have a budget, as little as possible. 2,000 dollars.

uzi9mm...I like the ASUS burner...plus it's black.

About AMD vs Intel, check this out:

http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...spx?i=2330&p=2

ud be crazy to go with Intel for gaming. AMD owns Intel at gaming, pure and simple.

For your budget, id suggest an AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego CPU, maybe an X2 4400, and a DFI Lanparty nForce4 Ultra-D mobo

15% performance increase on average is not owning.

Yes AMD does outperform Intel in gaming. But in my books, it does not own.

Ehhh..I still prefer Intel.

I just got bad news. My mom won't let me get this crap until I get A's and B's on my first report card, beginning of Junior year of High School.

I'm so angry. Maybe by then, I can get better stuff at the same price.
