I'm planning on building a new system soon, I should have enough money hopefully around November. I would like those to rate my setup and possibly give suggestions on what I should change hardware wise, trying to get below 1,150.00. Anyways I already have the dvd drive and floppy drive so obviously I haven't included those in the list

1.) 3700 isn't needed , 3200 is enough (of course, some peopl emight argue, but you really can't feel the speed difference)
2.) that corsair ram's price is wrong, it's the price for an asus mobo
3.) eVGA 6800GT is better
4.) you need a 24 pin ower supply, not the 20pin you listed (get the OCZ powerstream 520W instead)

Also, if u want to dish out the extra cash, you could wait for the next gen GPUs to hit. Should be this summer. Id recommend the R520 over the G70 judging by the specs posted on the forum

Get those twinmos at a minimum

It's pointless to get a venice and not get good ram, since venice is made for overclocking :)

Hmm I heard Kingston was a pretty good brand though. We used Crucial originally for our dual xeon servers but that stuff was pricey.

Right now i'm just using some no name brand from my store 1 gig pc3200 ddr 400 seems to work pretty good. I guess i'll add the twinmos stuff though since you guys agree it's good stuff. As for the video card this is just a list of stuff that I have set for so far, I may change the video card by the time I have the money to buy a system. Right now I have 98 bucks in my bank account so I'm not really considering on a permanent setup yet, just this so far is the best setup I can come up with for the money.
