no that was the first thing I did but I couldn't find anything that said "my documents" so I didn't know what to delete. Should I try disabling everything on start up (as in uncheck the "load start up items).

just another possibility:

get rid of your user account (save the files)

and try a new user account. That might help...

what files should i save? like only the ones that are important to the system? I have an HP computer and there is this recovery option...should i try that?
