Default My documents popping up

everytime i start the computer and log into my profile on XP, My Documents folder always pops up. How do I stop this? I tried msconfig but I couldn't find anything about My Documents to shut it off.

in My Comptuer, go to tools > folder options > view, and uncheck "restore previous folder windows at logon" (near the bottom)

I did that but it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions? I resetted the options to default.

Try the very nice program called "Startup CPL" (aka "startup control panel), it lets you to modify all the startup registry entries in "user friendly" way.

You can find it here: http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

Than it is very strange, if there is no separate entry in spartup registry for it, the only thing I can think of is that some other application opens it, can't really think of one, but, check maby one of the programs you run on startup may do this, check its settings then.
