Default my computer not recognizing new HDD size

My father just upgraded from two 320gb hdd's in raid 1 configuration to two 600gb drives. At first, the intel software did not recognize the new sizes after rebuilding the new drives, but he found an option to resize and that problem was quickly fixed. The issue now is that under 'my computer' the C drive shows only 310gb and the D recovery partition only shows 10.

He is running Vista Ultimate, I think x86- I can double check if needed. Would really appreciate any help on this. I don't know if there is a way to refresh this.
