there should be a noticable thing on it that looks like something you could push in... push it in and it should pop the battery up a little bit then u can just take it out

It's still not working I held the battery out for one minite...it was worth a try.... What could it be then....the LED still comes on like last time. I'll try removing some uneccesary componates but some more ideas on how to fix this would be good.

EDIT: I'm going to try swaping power supplies with an older one of mine.

take it out longer..the condensers (don't know u call them this way in english) can store the power for a long time

did u ever unplug everything? as in EVERYTHING but the vid card (reseat it, though), primary HDD, memory monitor and CPU. Remove/unplug the cdrom, floppy, keyboard, mouse, any printers or scanners or cameras/webcams, basically EVERYTHING. It will give you a keyboard error of some sort, but at least you'll have a screen if it comes up.
