My ballistic mouse ...

I have a wireless, infrared (frequency) mouse. Everytime I lift it off the mat the pointer goes ballistic.

Anyway I can stop this? It's only recently been doing this.

Use a wired mouse.

get rid of the mat, as it is not needed for a start. and don't lift the mouse up. It won't do it then.

You HAVE to lift up a mouse

If it doesnt happen with other mice your mouse is f'ed and needs replacing

The same thing happened my mouse. I replaced the batteries any everything worked again .
