Default mp3 player

k, so i almost have the $200 for the mp3 player im gonna get, polling to see what everyone thinks, its either the iPod mini or the Zen micro

The advantages to the iPod are:
iTunes
it's white. period.
the french would call it chiq. i think.
everyone knows what it is and it has the white headphones.
that lil circly dial

the Zen micro:
higher quality audio
a gig more than the iPod
removable battery
removable 256mb storage card
fm tuner
voiced and radio recorder
vertical touch pad, no more circles.

i have the zen micro, and it is awesome. great sound quality, very nice (and useful) equalizer. i highly recomend it.

btw, where did you get that it has a storage card? it's a hd player, not flash...

Why do people think the ipod sound quality sucks?

The guys I know who are into recording and producing, like the ipod because of it's sound quality compared to other's

hmmm here it is, but after clicking link it looks like false advertising, appears to be more of formatting a piece of the hd:

Removable Disk
Store and transfer not only your favorite tunes, but other important files as well. Zen Micro's Removable Disk mode lets you connect your player to the computer, then drag and drop music and data files you need. http://www.creative.com/products/pro...ct=10795&nav=7

I have seen both, and for me it would come down to which one has better battery life and which one, if an, can function as a plug and play flash-style drive.

the ipod sound quality doesn't suck

the sound just has a neutral feeling to it and sounds calm
