Mozilla won't open PDF files

I'm hoping someone else has run into this.

I cannot open PDF files while running Mozilla.

I'm using version Acrobat 7, on Mozilla 1.0.4, on Windows XP pro.

I have tried every conceivable "preferences" change in both Mozilla and Acrobat Reader.

I figured I'd "right-click" > "save link as" to save PDF files to read outside of the browser, but that doesn't work either.

No problems opening Acrobat independently.

No PDF problems with IE -- except I use Mozilla so I don't HAVE to use IE, so it kinda' defeats the purpose.

Anyone have a fix?

Check to see if there are any updates.

I have been able, in the past, to open PDF's no problem
Then again, that might be because I am running an older version of Mozilla than you

I'm using the newest version, just released as a matter of fact.

Yes, I used to be able to open in an older version as well.
