I have a question about my mouse speed. I have a Microsoft optical mouse with windows XP and I have the mouse speed set on the highest it can go. When I first start the computer it works just great. After a certain amount of time the mouse almost seems to "slow down". When I go and check the mouse speed it is still set to the highest tab, it just slows down and will not speed back up until I restart the computer. Is this most likely a hardware problem or a software problem? Thanks for any help.
