Hello.! 
I have a very **Easy Fix** for the auto-double clicking issue,lol. -AND- it did Not involve any fancy foot work threw the bio's or computer commands etc..
I felt silly,lol.. after my son [who was loopy on heavy pain meds] suggested this simple fix -But- it Did Work 100%.!!!
He said to clean the button area, that something maybe jamming it down just abit..
sooo.. I ran a small folded piece of paper around the button area to catch anything that there might be there..and..
""He was RIGHT"".. a very small clump of cat fur came out, and dust.! so, I tapped both sides on the table to get more dust out.. Now, it works 100% right..
