who really cares about a mouse?
when you are gaming, you use a gamepad anyways, and who cares how accurate the laser it?
lol ive never used gamepad on my comp (either pc/mac). sorry but its impossible to use gamepad for FPS.
and btw, i still love my logitech MX500. i have logitech G5, too. they are great.

how much difference will i notice between a 1600 dpi mouse and a 800 dpi? what does te extra 800 dpi do for me anyways?

track scrollers are mice with a ball on the top for scrolling with your fingers instead of the ball/laser on the bottom
I hate those kind of mice it to hard to use then unless you used to them.

so, what are some recomended mice names? like the logitech MX500 for example
Logitech MX518, Razer Diamondback, Razer Copperhead. In order from worst to best IMO

IMO, Logitech make the best mice.

Razer make really good mice, their top end mouse is a bit better in terms of specs.
However I prefer having the shape of Logitech mice a lot better. really easy on the hands.

I have an MX-510 and a G5, and I love them. After using them for a while, I don't like using a "normal" mouse. they just don't track well compared to my Logitech mice.
