I don't have direct deposit to a bank. I could, but I like to pick my checks up and then cash them myself. I was at the bank when I got my savings account and I asked how old you have to be before you can get a checking account, and the guy said about 17 because your signature doesn't really mean anything yet, I would still need an adult to sign. BTW, I am 16. But I have had some talks with my mom already and she said it would be fine.
