Motherboard problems?? Help

Well I don't know what happend but... I cleared cmos... rechecked everything again and plug the power cord in.. started up [just to try it one more time to see if it goes to the same screen]. Then I smell burning... look down a small electrical fire on my motherboard. WTF?!!
Ok fire.. board is dead.. whatever... but the cd rom or HD still doesn't move... and as someone posted already a badboard has nothing to do with the drives not receiving power. BUT I BOUGHT THE HD AND CD ROM BRAND NEW.

Aaaah yes.... I love the frustration.

Try and check the warrenty and return anything you can. I once put a k6-2 550 socket super 7 in a original pentium motherboard. When i turned it on, it created a lot of smoke but the motherboard still works.
