Default Motherboard problems

I just put a new motherboard in my computer. I downloaded the latest
drivers, and everything is working great, except the onboard audio. I get no sound from the speakers or headphones. Also, the cable from my headphone and microphone jacks has no slot in the new motherboard. I am really confused. Help.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control

Make sure everything is turned up and not muted. If you just downloaded the latest drivers for the motherboard everything should work fine. You might need to download separate drivers for the onboard audio but I doubt it. You probably have it turned down or plugged in wrong.
