Default which motherboard

hi all im thinking of bying a new motherboard and i havent a clue what too go for is it best too go for pentium or amd athlon at the mo ive got a asus a7n266-vm which is amd athlon 2400 board i can spend around £200 does neone know of a good one for around this price

I would stick with either abit or asus. I just bought one of the NF7 abits and they are great.

Yah for sure those are definitely top contenders. But I've also heard that GigaByte boards are supposed to be pretty good..

yes, i read a good review of GA-81875, then went and bought a GA-81875 Ultra, been using it for some time.

had some problems with the onboard network card, have put it down to inexperience on my part, no other problems
