Monitor Question

I have a compaq laptop which is not working and I had planned on selling it on ebay for parts. Then I started wondering if there is any way to just take off the monitor and put the monitor itself into my car and use it for a tv for my game system.....please let me know if this is possible and how to do it.....

nope, not possible, ok maybe it is but most laptop monitors are hard wired, and unless you nkow how to hard-wire an LCD screen, youre better off selling the whole thing on ebay as parts

It is possible ive seen it done. You will need the help of an electrician to do it. Ask around and if not then sell it for parts. Most are not hard wired into the laptop as the screen is the most common damaged part on a laptop they are very replaceable. The problems will be finding the power and video connections that work with it. I can not tell you how to do it, but i have seen it done. keep searching.
