Default Monitor Question

I have 2 Computer screens but they do not have an hdmi input only dvi, and my new video card only supports one DVI and one HDMI can I use an HDMI to DVI Adapter to connect my second screen to my computer?

Awesome thanks so much, most of them just say you can connect to a tv but I wasn't so sure about monitors.

There's not really much difference between monitors and TVs nowadays.

The tuner, and more connectors on a TV. That's pretty much it. That's really all that makes a TV a TV: a tuner.
