Default monitor not working

my monitor will not turn on at all but the little power light comes on and goes from orange to green when the computer is started but theres no picture. Any ideas on what could be going on here?

most likely a fried power inverter

Have you tryed another monitor to make sure it isn't a no signal from the board problems

I'm using an old crt monitor now and it works fine, just mailed the lcd to benq to get repaired

The cable on your monitor is probably busted, try getting a new one. And are you SURE its the monitor which is the problem, not the ram or video card?

I dont have to pay and the video card works fine. I don't know about the cable because the monitor loght would go green as if there was a signal and go orange when the monitor was supposed to be powered off as usual.
