Cool Monitor Compatibility Question

Buddy of mine has a Compaq laptop with model number CQ62-215DX. He wants a new screen for it. I have a spare screen for a Compaq laptop model number CQ61-411WM. At a quick glance the computers look exactly the same (when closed) except for his screen had a different colored outside, which is why I'm wondering if they would be compatible or not. He lives like an hours drive away from me, so it would be pointless to spend all that gas without knowing which is why I'm asking.
