Recently I have discovered that my ATI driver has multiple moniter capabilty (the mouse moves off screen to another display). I hooked it up to my shitty CRT TV via S-Video and I am pleased with the video playback, but text resolution sucks. I have looked it up but the results might as well be in Chinese.

What is the best way to get PC display from an everyday livingroom TV (upgrading if needed).

Also, is a PC projector (Optima etc.) a good solution for a big screen TV. In a dark room with a white screen is it as good as a movie theatre?

You need a new VGA Card.

An ATI All in Wonder Pro 9800 is suggested.

They are no doubt used in today's gaming magazines since they support TV In, Out, and capture.

OK. TV in, out...sweet but is it all capable. HD ready, high res. able for like...projectors.

Does the TV have to be high scan or progressive scan or HD or whatever the hell TV makers have to describe their TVs. Do composite cables need to be used, or is S-Video good enough or is there a new connection I don't know about.
