i have an issue with my monitor, heres what happens

- turn it on
- screen displays for about 3 seconds
- screen goes black and the green light turns orange

i dont have this problem with my other monitor but this one is bigger so i would like to use it if someone could help me figure it out

Orange means it goes to stand-by mode.What refresh rate are you using?What kind of gpu?

should that matter? cause with my smaller monitor i dont have the problem, so i dont know?

Well,it would be useful to know more info,so I could google it.
The monitor goes to stand-by propably because doesn't receive any signal from the gpu...
