Monitor/video card issues, please help!
Ah, I'm back.. with another problem.
My system is running fine, now it's my moniter (or video card). When I switch to 1024x768 resolution my screen messes up and little small lines go across the screen.
However, I have tried to uninstall my Radeon 9200 Pro drivers and when I switch to 1024x768 resolution and it looked fine.
The problem I noticed was that when I switched to the 1024x768 resolution and I look at my settings on my moniter, it says 87Hz. I switch back to 800x600 and its back to 60Hz. I can't switch it to 60HZ while in 1024x768 at all.
I even downloaded a program just now called "Powerstrip" it said I was running 60Hz even though I was running 87Hz. My moniter is a old Compaq moniter. I plan on upgrading after christmas sometime. But in the meantime, I want to try to fix it.
I am running the latest drivers from ATI. Any ideas on what I should do?
