I'd choose ABit's only because I think ASUS's quality has gone downhill in recent years and don't even think about trying to contact tech support, it's damn near impossible.

Thought you were going for an AMD machine though

ASUS gone downhill? Cant say I've heard that. I heard that Intel has formally stated that they reccomend ASUS MoBo's over their own.

I have the ASUS motherboard. It works really good.
I would suggest you get the 9xx series (PCI Express).

ASUS has not gone downhill. I would definitely get the ASUS. Although the P4C800-E Deluxe is better, I would get that instead. But if not the P4P800-E Deluxe is also great.
The P4C800-E Deluxe I know has performance mode as well as AI smart overclocking feature.
