Alright, I'm not really a computer guy. I just want to buy a new vid card so I can do some light gaming.

I am looking at the 6600GT as that's all the money I really want to put into this, but I need to know how I tell if my motherboard supports PCIe or AGP.

I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me.

you gotta get your mobo only supports http://support.dell.com/support/edoc....htm#wp1075886 if i read that correctly, that means ure mobo doesnt support pci-e OR agp. only PCI. someone who knows a little more might want to clarify that.

alright so what are my choices here? are there any decent vid cards worth buying in PCI?

and my only other option would be replacing the mobo?

well pci cards for vga i think go up to 5500 which is good med. settings for gaming but replacing your mobo i will tell you it will not fix back in that case dell makes them small so if you wanted to it will not work.
