I have a Asus P4S800 mobo and i have a p4 2.6. I had 768mb of RAM in it - it was kingston 333 512mb and kingston 333 256mb - I ordered another 256, I took out the 256 i had to match and make sure it was the same, it was the same thing. Then i put the original ram in and the new ram in right behind it. When i hit the power button it sparked right above the RAM on the mobo. I turned it off and took the new RAM out but now when i turn on my PC evereything is running, the hard drives everything sounds fine, but nothing comes up on the monitor. Do i need another mobo or can this be fixed? thx. - This is actually a friend of mines problem. I think he fried it but i wanted some of your opinions.

Never mind all that lol it isnt worth it. I just told him to order the same board i have from new egg- only 90 bux. The 865 perl - i love it and have never had any problems with it. Thanks for the help though.
