Question Mobo-->CPU-->RAM-->Video Card?

Hey guys...I think I'm gonna buy a few new components for my PC...and I was wondering if they r all gonna work with no's my current specs---> Mobo-MSI-VIA KT4v (333FSB) AMD Athlon 2100 (1733 Mhz) 512 MB PC2700 RAM. I wonna buy the Radeon 9800 PRO...and maybe the Athlon 2600. I was wondering, if these two components will work flawlessly on my motherboard. My primery concern is that my mobo only supports max of 333 FSB...and I don't know much about computers, but I think that will choke down the 9800 PRO won't it? And maybe even the Athlon 2600, and my PC 2700 Ram. Should I get a new mobo? If so, which one? Best value for best price (Ethernet and audio built in please) Thanks guys.

There are two versions of the Athlon 2600, one that works with 333FSB and one that works with 400FSB. Basically the one that works at 333FSB is an overclocked version of the 2400,2500 line of chips and the 400FSB is an underclocked version of the 2700,2800 line of chips. But i would consider getting a new motherboard if your going to be upgrading. I cant really give you a good value fo price because im in Australia and prices are different here. However, the Asus A7n8x-x boards are very good, and if you want to have dual channel ram as well the Asus A7n8x-deluxe boards are also quite good.

And your radeon 9800 Pro will also work fine on these boards as well. although, to get the full potential of the vid card i would suggest maybe upgrading to something like an athlon 3000-3200 (if you can afford it that is)
