Default Minor Problems with PC: Flicker and Beeps?

I was browsing through the forums, and I thought there was a thread started about the beeping errors and flickers, but I guess I didn't quite find the answers I need.

Ok, well, I have 2 concerns about my PC right now:

1. 3 BEEPS ON BOOT

Normally, when my computer boots, I would only hear 1 beep. Normal, I guess? But now, it started to beep 3 times. 2 beeps prior to the normal beep I normally hear. The first 2 beeps sound lower than the third beep. The beeps would start only at the ASUS (my p4p800 motherboard) logo on start-up. I don't know if that would make a difference in how to explain my problem.

2. MONITOR FLICKER on START UP

I recently changed monitor from a CRT to an LCD flat panel, and before the change, I've been experiencing the problem already. As soon as Windows XP would start up, the screen would go black for half a second, then flicker back on. It never blacks out throughout use, just on start up.

I read somewhere that it may be a power supply issue. Could it? My PC specs are below if that would help.

Well, that's about all I can say. I hope it's enough to get some response =] Thanks.

Tim

2. MONITOR FLICKER on START UP
With everything you got in your comp you arw pushing the 350 psu a bit over waht it should be puttin gout it seems. I would go to higher psu wattage. Say about 450, give yourself some head room.
1. 3 BEEPS ON BOOT
If I am not mistaken 3 beeps on startup is a memory issue. Since you said it started up recently. I would try the psu unit first. If you still got the beeps try a different stick of ram.

I'm not quite sure what it's called. I just bought it from Comp USA. It looked like a Lian Li design, but they didn't have their logo on it. Just a Comp USA brand, I guess.

Ok, well, I just changed my power supply. It's now 500 watt. Hopefully thats enough.

Anyway, the flicker still comes up. I really hope it's not the video card, cuz I don't have enough money right now to buy another part for my pc. Heh.
