Microphone not working

Sorry to say, but I personally cannot take the card out. Is there a way I can find out what I need without taking the card out? Also, once finding the driver, what do i do with it? The drivers ont he disk were "not better than the ones already installed" so the update thing didn't work.

How do you know it's even the drivers? They SEEM fine....

I need more help...
