Hardware:
--------------
Micronics W6-Li motherboard
(2) Pentium Pro CPU's (256k/1mb cache; read below)
VXI 5v VRM
Problem:
--------------
When running PPro CPU's with 256k cache, everything is fine. When I pop in PPro CPU's with 1mb cache, the system runs for a while and then just locks up. Rebooting fixes the problem, for a few minutes, and then it's back to freezing. Note: both sets of CPU's are matched perfectly.
Question:
--------------
Is it simply an overheating issue, or could a 5v VRM simply not be enough to power these energy suckers? If anyone knows for sure, let me know what it is that I have to change.
