ok this is my question, i have an emachines t5026 and iam thinking on upgrading its memory to 1gig, the other day i had money and iwas about to buy 333mhz memory because it said on the specs that it used 333mhz and if u wanted to use 400mhz u had to upgrade the p4 3.06 that it has to the 6xx series i think, so it ran at 800mhz fsb and u had no problems using 400, but when i went into the bios it said that the twin sticks(256) that iam using right now are running at 400mhz, so iam a littlebit confused here, my mobo supports dual channel and i want to buy 2x 256 twin sticks to keep it running with dual channel, but if i get the 333mhz my system will run at 333mhz and not a the 400mhz that it says on the bios...

so what do u guys think i should do?:bald:

Get some PC3200. You can use it in the future even if the one you have now doesn't fully utilize it.

yeah but.. can u guys tell me of a way that i can check if my pc is really using 400mhz other than bios...?:bald:
