Default Memory question

Is there a way to look at a memory module to see if it is compatible with my PC? I got this memory out of an old computer and I want to see if I can put it in another computer? How can I do this? I appreciate any help.

Is ther a sticker in the memory?What does it say and what does your mobo take for memory?

There are stickers on the mem stick, yes.

hp 8 mbytes (2mby32) 70 ns ... does that tell u anything?
