It depends on what your motherboard takes. There are different types of RAM. DDR is the newest type, which is probly what u have. You need to find out your type. If you dont already know then use a program called CPU-Z which can be found at http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php Click on the Memory tab and it will tell you which type of RAM you have DDR, SD RAM etc
