Memory diagnostic

A friend gave me a Microsoft Memory check boot-up floppy a while ago, to aid me with BSD problems.

My question is, as I'm using 3 sticks of 512mb (PC3200 DDR SDRAM), is it best to run the diagnostic with EACH dimm individually on all three slots? As of now I've only let it run over the whole 1.5gb...

It shouldn't matter because the diagnostic software knows there are multiple banks and can distinguish between sticks of memory.

Use Memtest86+ to diagnose your memory.
