Memory with amd64?

Recently I built an amd64 system with the asus k8v baord. Along with it I am using a stick of 512 pc-3200 corsair select value memory. Well my question is, is that cheap memory for my system? Would my system run ALOT better with say really expensive samsung memory instead? How much of a difference is using just cheap corsair select compared to those samsun and kingston XMS or w/e memory that costs about 70$ more?

Well, if the system is working fine then I would not really mess with it. Is it cheap memory? sure but if it works, hey who cares. Could you higher performance with say Crucial memory maybe depending on what programs you are running. You might want to do some benchmark tests and post them here so I can see your scores and we can compare.
